Red

Blossom and Brick- Red
Red definetly looked good on her.
Not that he would ever tell anyone that. But he just loved the way her face would go red whenever he got her mad. The way the color would become bright, to the same shade as his own eyes. It was one of the many reasons he chose to pick on her instead of Bubbles or Buttercup.
Her pink eyes would have a fire in them, as fierce as his fire breath. When she was like this, he truly felt as if she was the only one who could stand a chance against him. A perfect rival. But yet it felt more than just competition that drew him to her....
He didn't put much thought into it, that is until she started changing to a different shade of red. Her cheeks would become a soft shade of pink, like her eyes. Oh, and her eyes....They still had a fire to them, but different. Almost..compassionate.
It unerved him when she became like this, it was so different from usual. And yet, it was more pleasureable. It sent shivers down his spine, everytime he saw that shade of pink. So much so that he started to try and find ways to turn her into THIS shade, instead of her angry red.
He even started to find ways to deepen the color. By a touch of the skin, close proximity, certain words, all these things made her bright pink, and Brick could not deny that this was more thrilling than fighting her.
Brick did not realise he was in love until Blossom took action. She gently layed her hands on Brick's cheeks, and brought her face close to Brick's face. Her breath was warm against his ear, and Brick's own breath hitched.
She whispered, ever so softly, "You know, Brick, I love how you look when you turn red like this."
